Experience Matters

Valerie joined the HTW team in the spring 2021, bringing with her more than 10 years of administrative experience. Valerie also had previous experience with construction contracts and processes with her former employer. She started with HTW as a Construction Services Assistant, assisting with contracts, bidding services, and construction document management.

A Journey of Growth

Valerie quickly exhibited excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and became an integral part of the HTW team. Over the last several years, Valerie has gained valuable experience with projects from the initial stages of contract development through the end of construction closeout. This kind of experience gives valuable insight into the processes that lead to successful projects.

Valerie’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Arkansas Tech University. This foundation, combined with her previous and newly learned experience, is well suited to the multifaceted challenges of project management in the AE industry. Naturally, when HTW started looking to fill the role of an architectural project manager, Valerie was a standout choice.
