HTW worked with AOKCAT to design the all-new state of the art carpenter and millwright training facility in Russellville Arkansas. The team of Architects visited other training facilities to gain a sense of aesthetics previously implemented and desired by the owner before design began.

The all new 34,000 square feet training facility houses offices for the administration and staff which were previously scattered throughout the city, as well as new shop and training areas. Wood slat ceilings and accents are found throughout the building while the exterior boasts a dark gray metal siding and wood slat rain screens on both the north and south elevations.

Clerestory windows are a common design feature throughout, bringing natural light in and making it not only beautiful but also energy efficient.
